The Kuala Lumpur State Council currently comprises of twelve Kuala Lumpur companies and two Seremban companies.
1st Kuala Lumpur Company

The 1st Kuala Lumpur Company was the first company established in Kuala Lumpur by Mr Khoo Onn Soon. It currently has a total membership of about 200 Members in three sections: Senior Section (for ages 13-19), Junior Section (for ages 9-12) and Pre-Junior Section (for ages 6-8).

The 2nd Kuala Lumpur Company was founded in 1957 through the efforts of Mr. Cedric Park. The Company has a traditional Bugle band, bagpipe band and drumline band. Some of the Company's notable alumni include Dato' Ron Tan Kee Kwong, Dato' Seri Ho Seng Kung, Mr. Tan Geok Soon, Mr. Wong Chee Onn, and Mr. Jason Ng. The company's Colours was presented by Tan Sri Dato Dr. Ramon Navaratnam, the former Secretary-General of the Ministry of Transport of Malaysia in 2015.

The 3rd Kuala Lumpur Company was founded by Mr Stanley Woodruff in June 1957 and had an enrolment of 38 boys and 9 recruits. The company was also the first BB company in Malaysia to introduce bagpipes to their band. 3rd KL was also the first company to have experimented and formed the Primers Section in the year 1995.

The 4th Kuala Lumpur Company was founded by Mr. M.A Samuel on 11th Feb 1960. The Company's Band was first formed in 1964. On year 1961, St Gabriel's Church has taken over the role as the official Sponsoring Authority. 4th KL currently contains 2 section which are Juniors Section: Age 7-12 and Seniors Section: Age 13-19.

They are passionate about advancing Christ's Kingdom among children and youths, while training them to be Christ-like leaders.

The 14th Kuala Lumpur Company was established in April 2015 under the co-curriculum of the Kuala Lumpur Baptist Church Homeschool. The parade is on every Friday 8:30am-11.00am. The company is blessed with a great number of teachers as officers and members ranging from 7 to 19 years old of different nationalities. They aimed to build a generation with good discipline, mentally and physically well-prepared and rooted deeply in the words of God.

The 15th Kuala Lumpur Company came into being on 18 th April 2015, under the sponsorship of the Kuala Lumpur Baptist Church, Desa ParkCity. The company began with a membership of 33 members, made up of boys and girls ranging from 6 to 14 years with the majority coming from the Pre-Junior and Junior Sections. Led by a Captain who was a BB member of 1st KL, 56 years ago, assisted by 4 Officers, one of whom was a member of 2nd KL, 44 years ago. That is why, they both say, they have BB blood running through them. Parade was held every Saturday from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.

At that moment, 16th Kuala Lumpur Company couldn't form up due to lack of manpower.With approaching Mr. Samuel Ngu, he gathered a bunch of officers to form up the 16th Kuala Lumpur Company. On 2016, 16th Kuala Lumpur Company was established with under the captainship of Mr. David Wong.

The 17th Kuala Lumpur Company is a Sunday School providing FREE English Tuition for our Chinese educated vicinity of Kepong until. Then, BB was introduced via the 15th KL, which started 1 year ahead of us, it seem to fit every missing puzzle, the training of children to be obedient, discipline, reverence and self respect. As they labour on - fitting the BB culture into their 40 years of Sunday's School, the company witnessed the changes in their lives. Though painstaking, but they hoped to have, as an anchor of our souls, as they train both the children and the officers to be "Sure & Stedfast".

Our ultimate goal is to advance His kingdom and share the gospel to the community around Setapak.

The 1st Seremban Company was formed in 1961 with Wesley Methodist Church Seremban as sponsoring authority and ACS, the anchor school. Sadly, the company became defunct in the 1970's. In 2011, 01SBN was revived when WMSS decided to start the Brigade ministry and later ACS followed suit in 2012. Catering to Boys of 13 years onwards, the company meets every Saturday from 8am to 12pm at WMSS. In keeping with their 4-fold character development programme, the members are active not only at their local level but participates at the state and national levels as well.
